For any organization its wireless network forms a platform for enabling enterprise-wide access to its applications and data. Organizations have started deriving business value from mobile and wireless solutions. Also organizations have started deploying Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) phenomenon that allows to save money on high-priced devices like smart phones, Tablets, etc by allowing employees to bring their own such devices. Policies can be defined to provide controlled access to employees. This is thought to improve morale and productivity.

What was once a vertical market technology is now mainstream, and is an essential tool in getting access to voice, real-time information, and critical applications such as e-mail and calendar, enterprise databases, supply chain management, sales force automation, and customer relationship management. We offer powerful indoor and outdoor solution that combines the best elements of wired and wireless networking to deliver high performance, manageable, and secure WLANs with a low total cost of ownership.

Microlink has wide range of solution offering in wireless segment. Our wireless solution includes Controller based Wi-Fi Solution, Point to point and Point to Multipoint Wi-Max and OFDM distance links.

A. Outdoor Wireless:

Deployment of an outdoor wireless network requires an even greater specialized skill set due to the unique nature of the outdoor environment.

Network design is ever more important when deploying outdoors; of which there are three main design topologies:

outdoor
Point to Point Wireless:

A Point to point wireless network is designed to link two locations together via Ethernet. They can operate in both the unlicensed and licensed frequencies with speeds starting from 20mbps to 4Gbps full duplex.
Typical Point to Point applications are:

  • Building to Building Links
  • Leased Line Replacement
  • Fiber Replacement
  • Secondary Connections
Point to Multi Point Wireless:

A Point to Multi Point wireless network is designed to interconnect multiple locations to a central location. They can operate in both the unlicensed and licensed frequencies bands with speeds up to 1Gbps. A point to multi point wireless network can be a very cost effective replacement for leased lines.

Typical Point to Point applications are:

  • Public Wi-Fi
  • Campus wide broadband
  • Campsite Wi-Fi
  • Locations that can’t be cabled
B. Indoor Wireless (Wireless LAN):

Now a days mobile users require the same accessibility, security, quality-of-service (QoS), and high availability currently enjoyed by wired users. Legacy 802.11a/b/g networks can no longer suffice this need. 802.11n can manage your Mission-Critical Wireless Needs. It modernizes your network with up to six times more performance than legacy 802.11a/b/g networks, and add the capacity and reliability required for multimedia and business-critical applications.

It prepares your network to support the influx of new mobile devices. Implementing 802.11n can allow organizations to lower TCO by delivering a reliable wireless network that supports a broad range of mobility applications without compromising total network performance.
We offer you controller based WLAN solution for highly secure, enterprise – scale wireless networks.

Microlink has proven methodology to design the wireless solution. We follow industry standard best practices for designing accurate Wireless solution with below steps.

Survey:

We perform inital onsite physical WiFi survey to get right directions for designing a wireless network in terms of coverage and capacity. With the massive increase of laptops, smart phones and tablet devices that are brought into work it is not about providing coverage but about providing the right amount of capacity.  We use the latest industry tools and techniques to map out the RF coverage and capacity of your intended area and provide you with detailed documentation on all aspects of the survey.

Design:
Based on evaluation of below parameters during survey, we prepare the design.

  • Coverage – Required coverage for specific location
  • Capacity – Capacity to handle the amount of users
  • Security – Security policies to be defined based on customer needs
  • Redundancy – based on criticality of wifi network

We take into account your existing network, existing network policy and future networks demands. The wireless network that we design for you will be scalable for the future and provide you with the security that meets your business needs.

Implementation:

Our experienced wireless network installers will work with you to install your wireless network with little or no disruption to your business. We always aim to have no network down time or to slow company productivity whilst installing. We can perform on the job training for wireless network users and dedicated training for network engineers, empowering them to reliably manage your wireless network when we have completed our work.

Post Installation survey:

Upon completion of the implementation phase we will perform a final wireless site survey so that we can check that the initial network design and your requirements have been acheived. Performing a wireless site survey at the end is something that is never thought about untill problems arise weeks or months after completion. A post installation survey is the only way to prove that we have provided the coverage and capacity we originally designed for.

C. BYOD – Bring Your Own Device for WiFi Networks:

We offer you a complete BYOD solution that can easily tailor to meet your needs and supports your network with

  • Policy-enforced, highly secure access
  • Exceptional network experiences
  • Simplified operations
BYOD

With our BYOD Smart Solution, you can help secure access to data, applications, and systems with a single policy management plane across your organization, including:

  • Guest, posture, and device profiling
  • Network access
  • Mobile device management (MDM)

Our BYOD Solution:

  • Knows who and what is on the network, and where
  • Protects mobile devices with added security layers through MDM integration
  • Provides network- and endpoint-based device ID and awareness
